Big waste of money. She may have been a better attorney at some point... but now... she acts likes her clients are just an inconvenience and a waste of her time. When my ex filed her response to the divorce, Millie wouldn't even read it for herself. In fact... she didn't even know the response had been served to her office... I had to call her and and bug her to update me on the status of my divorce while she sat on a pile of paperwork doing nothing. Thank you so much for all your help. I have been doing a 5 year custody battle for my son. I have gotten nowhere until Millie came along. She got me full custody and now my son is safe with my wife and I thank you again.
Affordable Family Law is NOT at River View Tower, please do NOT give the receptionist any money for Millie!!! millie works from her private home ONLY and while the receptionist knows her please don’t give her any money! Also I had Millie and so far it took 8 months and got no help, no refund and no court date and she is super nice but makes you do stuff but she sent me a few emails and that is all I got I finally called and canceled and it was all of my retirement money I had!
My cut and dry divorce has taken nearly 2 years and is still not finalized. It’s impossible to get ahold of her or get any answers or resolution. I am waiting on final orders and have been since august. It’s a lot of run around. She says she will do something and it doesn’t get done. You have to chase her down repeatedly for any progress to be made and minimal to no communication. Not a good experience and beyond frustrated with the run around. Please find another attorney. Cheaper isn’t always better.
Millie could quite literally be the worst attorney you could work with. She has blocked communication between her client and her young children because she "doesn't want to deal with the headache" She rarely responds to communication and has never come to a hearing prepared. I would strongly recommend looking anywhere else for legal representation.
