My fiancé and I recently had to evict a problematic Section 8 tenant for non-payment of rent. The property is located in a section of Albuquerque called the “War Zone”. We are located in Arizona and were unable to travel, so we needed a landlord/tenant attorney well versed in the New Mexico Uniform Owner Resident Relations Act. Scouring the internet for days, we were unable to find a single practicing landlord/tenant attorney that we felt comfortable with. We chose Attorney Robert Richards or Rob (as he asked us to call... read more
Robert Richards won my case. Mr. Richards was very involved with our case. My wife and I had hired a different attorney which cared more about collecting money from us than investigating our case. Mr. Richards always kept us updated on our case and asked questions when the defendants attorney sent paperwork. With Mr. Richards experience, expertise and hard work we won our case. Hopefully we will never have need for an attorney but if that time comes we will call Mr. Richards to handle our case
I found Mr. Robert Richards to be a very talented litigator, all while being considerate, patient and fair. I had a difficult tenant eviction and damages restitution case, not something that every lawyer would take on. Mr. Richards did…and we won! Mr. Richards may tell you that no court case is a sure win, but if I ever need legal counsel again, I’m calling him! Grateful
Mr. Richards truly help our family with a Landlord/Tenant dispute. He was completely prepared for trial, delivered an outstanding court presentation, and did it with the highest degree of professionalism. I was truly proud to be represented by Mr. Richards. So prepared. Also, he's quite witty.
