Law Office of Robert Kiel, LLC

I am appalled by my initial phone call to try to make an appointment with Attorney Kiel. I called the office to specifically make a consultation with Attorney Kiel, the man that answered the phone had broken english which was fine, I could understand him perfectly, but I don’t think he could understand me. He stated he was going to ask me a few questions about my disability, and he would have the attorney call me to set an appointment for the consultation. After a half hour uncomfortable conversation, he tried to diagnose me stating well, maybe you don’t have a mental problem. maybe you are not taking your medication maybe you didn’t state you have diarrhea or constipation. I stated please don’t go over the Dr summary with me. You haven’t even read the physicians chart! I had to interrupt him five times to stop trying to diagnose me. This man blatantly argued with me, interrupted me and talked over me. He went as far as comparing my disability to his surgery that he had, you cannot compare your surgery to my diagnosis. I am in shock of how he was speaking to me almost as if he was a physician. I unfortunately wasted a half hour of my time explaining to him please, I only called to make a consultation appointment with the attorney. I am in the appeals process. I have a spinal cord and impingement cannot walk or sit. I have to lay down with support of my neck. He said well maybe you’re not taking your medicine he said maybe you didn’t state how long you need to lay down. I said look I just want an appointment with the attorney so I can discuss it with him. He was talking over me every time I tried to correct him. It was the most uncomfortable and unprofessional conversation I’ve ever had with anyone that especially claims they are a paralegal. I ended the conversation with, if you are the paralegal to this attorney, no way I would want attorney Kiel’s firm to represent me. I cannot stress enough, how unprofessional this phone call was, and it makes me believe that in fact, he is not a paralegal he was posing as one. I hope no one else has the same experience I had with calling this office. I am totally surprised that this attorney Kiel would even employ someone like this.

The team at The Law Office of Robert Kiel is above average at best!!! I have been working with them for several years and they have always been consistently supportive and encouraging of my case….. I was approved for my disability but I was owed back pay and they were insistent that I get what I worked for and deserved! After many “hiccups” in the case, they never gave up! And I’m happy and grateful to say I received everything I was legally entitled to. Robert, Lou, and Eileen are superb human beings and I never could have received what I was entitled to without their superb support! I can without hesitation highly recommend this firm for any of your needs concerning SSI and Disability!!!! I AM SO VERY GRATEFUL!!!

Attorney Robert Kiel and his staff are the best. I am so grateful to all of them for guiding me and encouraging me through the disability process. Through their hard work I was able to achieve a favorable outcome in my case. Robert , Luis and Eileen were always available and answered all of my questions. They were always compassionate and empathetic towards me. I highly recommend this law office and will be forever grateful to them.
